About the restaurant

Step off the high street into Poole’s oldest hostelry and then walk through to discover the hidden treasure of Smuggler’s restaurant. Smugglers is adorned with all kinds of ancient nautical and fishing paraphernalia, very much in keeping with the maritime feel of this old building. Flagstone floors, raised decking areas, wood panelling, brick arches and wooden banisters all combine to create cosy dining areas and of the feeling of a bygone age. Enjoy a great selection of freshly-prepared meals, including Chef's Daily Specials, fine wines and cask ales.

About the bar

Relax in our cosy bar and enjoy a variety of traditional bar snacks, light bites and daily "specials" washed down with cask ales and fine wines. On sunnier days enjoy our menu al fresco style in our raised decking area on the heated patio. In the winter snuggle up beside our real open fire.
